Interstellar (Christopher Nolan)

In the near future, Earth will be devastated by drought and famine causing a scarcity in food and extreme changes in climate. When humanity is facing extinction, a mysterious rip in the space-time continuum is discovered, giving mankind the opportunity to widen its lifespan. A group of explorers must travel beyond our solar system in search of a planet that can sustain life. The crew of the Endurance are required to think bigger and go further than any human in history has ever gone as they embark on an interstellar voyage into the unknown.

Starring: Matthew McConaughey, Mackenzie Foy, John Lithgow, Timothée Chalamet, David Oyelowo, Bill Irwin, Anne Hathaway, Wes Bentley, Michael Caine, David Gyasi, Casey Affleck, Jessica Chastain, Topher Grace, Matt Damon, Brooke Smith

My thoughts on this film: First of all, this is incredibly beautiful to watch. The atmosphere around it is just stunning!
And so is the cast. To begin with, Matthew McConaughey is not only part of the movie... He is the movie. He is capable of making us feel so many different emotions all along the story, as a father and as a human being. Anne Hathaway is also very convincing, and I have never been a big fan of her until now. And then there is... Matt Damon. I will not say much about his role in the film as not to spoil the ending, but one word can be used... Unexpected (in a good way).
And finally, the scenario/story. I can only say that, more than a sci-fi movie, this is a story about humanity. And do not forget it!
