Words and Pictures (writer: Gerald Di Pego; director: Fred Schepisi)

A flamboyant English teacher and a new art teacher collide. A high-spirited courtship begins and she finds herself enjoying the battle. Another battle they begin has the students trying to prove which is more powerful: words or pictures.

Starring: Clive Owen, Juliette Binoche, Valerie Tian, Navid Negahban, Bruce Davison, Amy Brenneman, Adam DiMarco, Josh Ssettuba, Janet Kidder, Christian Scheider

Why I loved this film: It is so great to have a movie you can actually watch without being bombarded by violence, sex and f-bombs. I loved it. Clive Owen and Juliette Binoche as artists each struggling with demons that have crippled (in Binoche's case, literally) their creative abilities, deliver wonderful performances, as does the entire cast. The script rolls along at just the right pace with a lot of cultural references such as the likes of Shakespeare, etc.
It was overall an inspirational movie worth seeing!
