Algo Diferente... Uma Nota Pessoal... Porque Sim! Porque me apetece! Porque às vezes é necessário!

Eu quero AMAR,
AMAR perdidamente!
AMAR só por AMAR...
AMAR! AMAR!
E não AMAR ninguém!

AMAR é ultrapassarmo-nos.

Assim sou eu...

Já tive medo do escuro, hoje no escuro “me acho... me agacho... fico ali”...

Sou sempre eu mesma… E eu quero AMAR! AMAR!AMAR só por AMAR...AMAR perdidamente!Eu quero AMAR!

Dead Poets Society (Tom Schulman)

In this film, directed by Peter Weir, painfully shy Todd Anderson has been sent to the school where his popular older brother was valedictorian. His room-mate, Neil, although exceedingly bright and popular, is very much under the thumb of his overbearing father. The two, along with their other friends, meet Professor Keating, their new English teacher, who tells them of the Dead Poets Society and encourages them to seize the day, no matter what. Each, in their own way, does this, and is changed for life.

Starring: Robin Williams, Robert Sean Leonard, Ethan Hawke, Josh Charles, Gale Hansen

Why I loved this film: To begin with, Robin Williams plays Mr. Keating, the English teacher we all wish we had had. He brings warmth, passion, and an endearing quiet humour to the role as he aspires to teach these young men both the beauty of the English language and the importance of living life to the full, of "seizing the day".
Nowadays, there is no one that does not use the Latin sentence "Carpe Diem" when things go wrong or when there should be a little hope somewhere. It is a true lesson this film taught us, to Carpe Diem, that is, seize the day. Do not worry about what will happen next or what others will think, just do what your heart tells you to and when you are older at least you know you have lived. A true lesson at a school where boys could not be boys!
Nowadays, when I feel like crying and it seems like life is going nowhere I try to seize the day, to forget my worries and get all my forces together because it is all I can do: When you fall down, just get back on your feet and move on with life, trying to live it to the fullest. CARPE DIEM.

How I met your mother (TV Series created by Carter Bays and Craig Thomas)

The year is 2030. Ted Mosby is relaying the story of how he met his wife to his son and daughter. The story starts in the year 2005, when then twenty-seven year old architect Ted is pushed into wanting to get married after his best friends from college, lawyer Marshall Eriksen and kindergarten teacher Lily Aldrin, become engaged after nine years of dating. Ted's new quest in life is much to the dismay of his friend, ladies man Barney Stinson. But soon after Marshall and Lily's engagement, Ted believes that his life mate is going to be news reporter and aspiring news anchor Robin Scherbatsky, who, despite their romantic relationship, ends up being who the kids know as their "Aunt" Robin.

Starring: Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan and Bob Saget

Why the love for this TV Series: To begin with, Neil Patrick Harris was a great part of my adolescence, I still remember him dressed up as a 16-year-old doctor. Therefore, I have to say that Barney Stinson is a breath of fresh air, being such a funny character in every possible way. I do not thing there is a Barney one liner that people do not - wait for it - know...
This show is also about finding your true love and never giving up, even when it seems impossible. Someday, the dream will eventually come true, since Ted Mosby is now a father of two kids. I have to say this is really inspiring, if it works out you will be left with happiness, otherwise, move on until you find the one...
I just made a similar choice in my life, I stopped running away from getting hurt and decided to take a chance... My life may not be a TV Series, but if Ted Mosby can do it, so can I!
