Crazy, Stupid, Love (Dan Fogelman)
As directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, Cal and Emily have the perfect life together... Until Emily inadvertently announces that she wants a divorce. Down and depressed, Cal starts drinking away his sorrows at a local bar, attempting to make sense of this dilemma to anyone who will listen. Jacob, a long-term bachelor, takes notice and makes it his personal mission to help Cal get over his wife... And become a new man in the process.
Starring: Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone, Marisa Tomei, Kevin Bacon, Josh Groban
Why I loved this film: To begin with, they managed to assemble an amazing cast in a romantic comedy that is absolutely hilarious, by the end I was crying from laughing so much!!!... I also loved Ryan Gosling's naked body... But, most of all, I simply adored the way love is dealt with throughout the whole movie, it is not always as it seems, and when you find your soul mate, even if you believe that person is in love with someone else, you should never stop fighting, no matter how long it takes, because in the end you might get a surprise... And Ryan Gosling is so cute!... Finally, it shows that a playboy can change his game when the right person comes along and fall into the trap that is love, since, in the end, that is what everyone really searches for!
In this film, love is handled according to all perspectives and ages in the sweetest, funniest, and most realistic way - lies and honesty mixed together - because the important matter is to find your soul mate and never let him go!
